I started and stopped writing this last blog so many times over the past few days that I thought I would never finish it. How would I summarize what this beautiful journey has been to me all these months?

How do I say Goodbye?

It’s an impossible task because trying to find out the right words has me reminiscing about so much

Amal surely was a sky for me that helped me in extending my skyline. And yes,

“There is a great sense of freedom soaring through the sky. You get a different perspective upright there. Seeing things that aren’t apparent from the ground” I heard or read that somewhere — apologies to the source I Can’t acknowledge

soaring high so that see different

Just 3 months ago I couldn’t even imagine that I would be accepted to AMAL, and now I can’t imagine my life without the experiences that I have had during my time here. It has not always been smooth sailing, rainbows, and butterflies. There were times when I truly struggled, when I cried and when I wanted nothing more than to give up. Experiencing those tough times and learning how to push through them has helped me shape into who I am and made the time good that I have had, that much more valuable. In this fellowship, I learned as much about myself (my strengths, my weaknesses, my goals), and above all, I got to make new friends that will only help you go up and up and up….

Batch-192

I remember How excited I was at my very first session and how nostalgic I felt on my very last day at AMAL. Which our facilitators tried hard to turn it into a fun day and it started from playing a game called “Scavenger Hunt” and yes for once we all forgot that we are playing this with our fellows for the last time and we had a lot of fun.

Scavenger Hunt

To our surprise both the teams’ Won yey! We were very happy and didn’t realize that time will fly like a white horse..

And then we decided to thank our mentors who played an active role in transforming us into a very new version of ourselves. We planned to display handmade Thank You note to our facilitators and also One of our fellows sang a song for them. This sweet act of gratitude filled not only ours but our mentor's heart with all the love they can hold. I myself witnessed their wide smiles which I am gonna keep with myself forever.

GoodBYE!!AMAL

My time as an AMAL fellow has come to an end. However, I will not be saying goodbye to this institution that has helped to shape who I am as a person or the dear friends I made during my time here- just see you later, and peace be with you.

Thank you, thank you, thank you AMAL, Ma’m Sana, Sir Anas, Batch mates, and Of course my group fellows who supported everything this program seeks and I am telling you every one of you would be the part of my journey and wherever it takes me. I pray I adequately reinvest everything you have given and taught me into all that comes next. I would love to present myself sometimes as a leader sometimes as an MVTP. All AMAL did for me I would be pleased to for others..

Thanks for coming to my TedTalk!!
